Meet Our Founder
Shehzad Khan Zadran
Founder of Libas e Watan
At just 21 years old, Shehzad Khan Zadran is turning his passion for Pashtun heritage into something that can be worn, celebrated, and shared with the world.
Originally from Paktia, Afghanistan, and currently living in Peshawar, Shehzad founded Libas e Watan while continuing his studies. For him, building this brand has never been simply about starting another clothing business. It began with something much more personal: a deep love for Pashtun culture and traditional dress.
More Than a Clothing Brand
When I started Libas e Watan, my first thought was never profit. My goal was to represent and promote Pashtun culture through clothing and to present our traditional dresses with the quality, attention, and respect they deserve.
I have always been passionate about Pashtun cultural clothing. Before launching Libas e Watan, I saw many people working in the same space, but I felt there was still room to do things differently — and to do them better.
I wanted every detail to matter.
From quality tailoring and precise stitching to professional photography, thoughtful branding, and beautiful presentation, I wanted to create a brand where the quality of the work reflected the beauty of the culture behind it.
Built With Passion. Inspired by Culture.
Libas e Watan is my way of showcasing Pashtun identity with pride.
Every dress we create represents more than fabric and stitching. It carries elements of our heritage, traditions, craftsmanship, and identity. My aim is to preserve that authenticity while presenting Pashtun clothing at a standard that can be appreciated both within our community and beyond it.
Building a brand while continuing my studies has not always been easy, but my love for this work keeps me moving forward. I genuinely enjoy what I do — from thinking about how a dress should look and feel to how it should be photographed, packaged, branded, and ultimately presented to our customers.
I started Libas e Watan because I believed our culture deserves to be represented beautifully.
And that belief continues to guide everything we do.
